Friday July 3rd - Ilkley Cycle Races
Anyone able to spare a few hours on Friday evening, please sign up by Thursday July 2nd at www.volunteersignup.org/9KBED. Every volunteer makes a real difference and helps ensure that this flagship event continues to thrive whilst keeping Ilkley on the map as a destination for international cycle racing. If you go onto the sign up website, you'll be able to see the roles that still need to be filled for the event to go ahead.

Thursday July 9th - Ilkley and District Mental Health Forum
Join Robbie Moore MP and Dr Caroline Rayment of Grange Park Surgery in Burley-in-Wharfedale on Thursday July 9th, from 2.30pm to 5.30pm at The Craiglands Hotel, Cowpasture Road, Ilkley as they host a community forum to explore the challenges facing young men today and how we, as a community, can better support young men and boys across the Ilkley and Wharfedale area. Dr Luke Evans, Shadow Minister for Health, will also be featuring as a guest speaker. Saturday July 18th - Fairtrade Yorkshire Annual Conference
- Joanna Fianu will talk about chocolate making in New Koforidua, Ghana;
- Sam Brixby-Bland, President for Union Development, will speak about how Fairtrade has been promoted through the Hull University Student Union;
- Presentations from two schools;
- Liz Roodhouse will speak about Fairtrade Embsay with Eastby and their links with the local environment group; and
- Chance to chat with other Fair Trade supporters about achievements, challenges and plans.
Volunteer for the Leeds Hospitals Charity
Could you spare a few hours to support your hospitals? Leeds Hospitals Charity are looking for volunteers to help at their charity shop on The Grove. They have roles on the shop floor or in the stock room, or can you try both!
