All Saints' Fun Days for Refugee Families

All Saints hosts an annual fun day for refugee families through local group Wharfedale Refugee Response and Refugee Action in Bradford. Families come for a day of welcome and respite from very difficult circumstances. There are craft tables including forest school craft, icing biscuits and making bead pictures as well as car tracks and ping pong, and in 2024 there was even a bouncy castle in church in the afternoon. Families come from many different countries for a day out where the children can have some much needed fun and parents can hopefully enjoy refreshments in a relaxed setting and receive a little extra help in the form of donations of clothing and food.
